³ΤΉΟΜμΜΓ91 Science Scholar Amelia Muscott β22 studies glaciers by analyzing lakebed sediments in Wyomingβs Teton Mountain Range.
Geology major Amelia Muscott '22 was named a 2021-22 ³ΤΉΟΜμΜΓ91 Science Scholar and presented with a research grant funded by the Kenneth T. and Eileen L. Norris Foundation. Working with Assistant Professor of Geology Darren Larsen, Amelia's project, βReconstructing glacial fluctuations and late Holocene hydroclimate variability in the western U.S. from alpine lake sediments,β is an extension of the work she did in summer 2020 analyzing sediments from Lake Solitude, a non-glacial lake in Wyomingβs Teton Mountain Range.
